I was raised on a working cow ranch in NM, after high school I joined the Navy for 4 yrs. My career in healthcare began in 1988 when I joined a volunteer Ambulance as an EMT and worked with EMS and Fire while attending WNMU and completing Nursing School.
During my 20 plus years of nursing, I have had the best experiences and worked in the Emergency Room, ICU, Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, Oncology, Labor and Delivery and many other areas in healthcare. After obtaining my Family Nurse Practitioner Certification, I have worked in family practice and urgent care. What I love about being an FNP-C is that I get to help people, educate people and make a difference by encouraging them to live their best life possible. When not at work, I love to spend time with my family.
